And we need your help.

We have our blueprints in hand and shelter renovation construction is scheduled to begin once we receive our final amount of funding from this campaign. Updates includes a brand new HVAC system, new electrical, new flooring, multiple new dog kennels, a brand new surgical suite, and more! The new expansion is the far right section of the above blueprints.
Every square inch of this renovation will directly impact the work we are able to do in the community. A newer, updated building means more animals we can help, heal, spay and neuter, and rehome. Check out the video from Channel 9 below or the article here.
Why we are expanding:
There have been a lot of changes in 2023, and we are just beginning! So far, we have TRIPLED the number of animals we have taken in and adopted out to new homes from past years and the demand for more and upgraded kennels, an isolation room and surgical room is needed more than ever.
The funding we need:
Unfortunately, The Finger Lakes SPCA of CNY does not receive any funding from the ASPCA. We rely solely on grant funding (which is never guaranteed) and donations from our supporters. Now, your support is needed more than ever. As a 501c3 non-profit, you can feel confident that 100% of your donation to the Capital Campaign will go directly to the renovation. At this moment we received a large grant from New York State but need to match $100k in order to receive it.
How you can help:
Make a tax deductible donation here and write “capital campaign” in the memo - this ensures your donation will go directly to this fund. Feel free to send a check too - also stating “capital campaign” in the memo. Every dollar matters!
