We’re more than a shelter. Our mission is to keep animals safe, healthy, and loved—whether that means finding them a new home or helping families avoid giving them up in the first place. Whether you’re looking to adopt a pet, find low-cost spay & neuter services, or need help keeping your pet at home, we’re here to help. Located in Auburn, NY, we serve pet owners across Cayuga County with services focused on the wellbeing of animals and their people.

Adopt A Pet

Give a homeless dog or cat a fresh start. Every animal we adopt out is vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and ready to become part of your family. Adoption fees help cover the cost of medical care and daily support.

C.A.R.E Program:

Through our Care program, we provide one-on-one guidance and resources to keep pets in their home and provide support for rehoming while avoiding shelter stress entirely.

HOWLoween at Owen Orchards

Join us on Saturday, October 18th from 11am–2pm at Owen Orchards in Weedsport, NY for a tail-wagging good time! Our HOWLoween event is all about fun, community, and of course—celebrating animals. Whether you’re coming for the adorable costumes, games, or delicious food, it’s an event you and your furry friends won’t want to miss.


Admission is free, and everyone is welcome—families, kids, and pets included! Whether you're local or just love a fall outing, come help us celebrate and support the Finger Lakes SPCA of Central New York.
