Spay & Neuter Services

About Our Clinics

We host weekly low-cost spay & neuter clinics every month right here at our shelter at 41 York Street in Auburn, NY. These clinics are designed to serve pet owners in need, local rescues, barn cat colonies, and feral cat caregivers across Cayuga County and the surrounding region.

To apply for spay or neuter services, fill out the application below.

  • Once your application is reviewed, you’ll receive an email with instructions. There is currently a waitlist of about 1–2 months, so please plan ahead. Emergency cases may be considered for earlier scheduling.

Why Spaying & Neutering Matters

Preventing unwanted litters means fewer animals suffering on the streets, and fewer ending up in shelters. Spay & neuter surgeries also help your pet live a longer, healthier life by reducing risks of certain cancers and infections, while curbing unwanted behaviors like marking or roaming. By choosing to spay or neuter, you're making a positive impact—not just on your pet, but on your entire community.
